【2022-11-12】 On the morning of November 11, 2022, SPS held a webinar for 2023 NSFC applications and invited Professor Fu Haiyan, Dean of college of pharmacy, South-Central Minzu University, to give guidance on the funding application. Ling Ming, Secretary of the Party Committee of SPS, Professor Xia Zhining, Vice Dean Li Yizhou, other faculties and postdoctoral fellows that planned to apply for 2023 NSFC as well as teachers from affiliated hospitals attended the webinar.

Prof. Fu delivered a lecture entitled "Personal experience of NSFC application", based on her extensive experience as a skilled reviewer. She began the talk by introducing the significant changes that have occurred in recent years and provided detailed strategies to deal with common issues in letter reviewing. She emphasized the importance of selecting the appropriate scientific problems and concise writing skills. By giving cases of funding proposal frame and concise abstract, she explained details that were easily ignored by applicants.

After that, Chen Hui and Xue Weiwei, who applied for 2023 NSFC application, discussed with Prof. Fu on some common issues during the application.
